2020 Summer Series Beach Volleyball League Registration Deadline June 22
With the recent Government Phase 2 Re-Opening and expected Phase 3 later this month, Volleyball Manitoba’s initial ‘Return to Play’ plan has now been approved by the provincial authorities.
The current plan involves beach volleyball 2vs2 to resume next month. Other formats of beach volleyball involving more than 2 players per team and all Indoor volleyball including all forms of training, camps, and competitions will be considered later this summer with subsequent Provincial government re-opening phases. With this approval, we are continuing with our plans to host youth and adult beach leagues at both Sargent Park Beach Volleyball Centre and Maple Grove Rugby Park. However, due to physical distancing regulations and outdoor group size restrictions there will be category registration limits. Pre-registration opened last week and the registration deadline will be Monday, June 22.
The safety of our participants and of our community continues to be our highest priority. As you see in our ‘Return to Play’ plan, there is a series of risk management and safety measures in place and it is of the utmost importance that everyone adheres to these protocols. More information on these measures will be provided to all participants following registration.
We are aiming to begin the season the week of July 6-10.

Please note that currently all registration is being taken on a “Wait List” basis. Due to this, all leagues will be listed as “Full” on the registration forms. Once we have finalized our Division Capacities, teams will begin to be invited to complete their registration, in the same order in which they registered.
