Team Manitoba – Indoor

The Team Manitoba Pathway develops athletes at various stages of their volleyball journey, focusing on progressive skill development, game knowledge, and competition exposure. The three key stages include: Team Manitoba White, Black, and Gold. These programs help to prepare athletes for success at higher levels of play.

Team Manitoba programming runs annually from June to early August and does not interfere with club or school volleyball.

Volleyball Manitoba has a strong history of producing top athletes, many of whom have competed at the university, national, and professional levels. The Team Manitoba program, open to athletes aged 13U-18U, provides a structured environment for training, learning, and competition.

Following Volleyball Canada’s recommendations, the program aims to:

  • Develop competitive volleyball in Manitoba by sharing best practices with players, coaches, and parents.
  • Pursue excellence at events like the Canada Summer Games, Manitoba Games, and Canada Cup.
  • Enhance athletes’ technical, tactical, physical, and mental skills through progressive training.
  • Build confidence, leadership, and camaraderie among athletes and coaches.
  • Educate participants on skills and strategies for post-secondary and national-level play.

By fostering growth and development, the Team Manitoba program prepares athletes for success both in sport and beyond.
