Volleyball Manitoba Youth Beach League

Beach Volleyball Leagues exist within Winnipeg and in communities around the province where participants can play outdoors throughout the summer months. Leagues exist for youth & adults, for those looking for more competitive play or those just wanting a social coed game to enjoy with friends.

Volleyball Manitoba is excited to announce the return of the VM Summer Series Beach League for 2024!

Format:

Teams can expect to play 2 games/night, with time slots beginning no earlier than 5:30pm.
The Season will run 8 weeks, beginning the week of June 3-7 and wrapping up with week of July 22-26.
6 Weeks of Round Robin, 2 Weeks of Playoffs.
In the event of a rain-out, the league may be extended by a week to accommodate.
Please note, Monday Leagues will not play on Canada Day and will wrap up on July 29th. 

Referees:
Games in the 13U/14U Leagues will be overseen by a certified official in a Court Supervisor capacity, with parents being required to score-keep matches.

Games in the 15U/16U and 17U/18U Leagues will be refereed by certified officials on a bi-weekly basis, with Court Supervisors attending/assisting on alternate weeks.  This is to ensure that everyone receives the same amount of refereed matches, as well as encouraging athletes to expand their understanding of the application of the rules of the game by engaging in some refereeing at the peer level.

League Fees:
Mondays – 17U/18U Boys & Girls 2s @ Sargent Park – $340/team + GST & Service Fees
Min 2 on roster, Max 4

Mondays – 13U/14U Boys & Girls 3s @ Maple Grove – $420/team + GST & Service Fees
Min 3 on roster, Max 6

Wednesdays – 15U/16U Boys & Girls 2s @ Sargent Park – $340/team + GST & Service Fees
Min 2 on roster, Max 4

Wednesdays – 15U/16U Girls 3s @ Sargent Park – $420/team + GST & Service Fees
Min 3 on roster, Max 6

Thursdays – 15U/16U Boys & Girls 2s @ Maple Grove – $340/team + GST & Service Fees
Min 2 on roster, Max 4

Teams will also be responsible for a $100 Performance Bond Cheque, to be submitted before the first League Night.  This Performance Bond is used as assurance against any no-shows, rule-breaking, or other sanctionable offense.  Cheques will not be cashed unless necessary, and uncashed cheques will be returned at the end of the season or destroyed.
