Accessibility Policy

Our Commitment

Volleyball Manitoba is committed to providing an accessible and inclusive online experience for all users, including people with disabilities. We aim to ensure that our website is easy to navigate, understand and use, and that information about our programs, services and activities is available to as many people as possible.

We recognize that accessibility is an ongoing process and are committed to identifying barriers, making improvements and responding to feedback.

Our Accessibility Efforts

Volleyball Manitoba strives to incorporate accessibility into the design, content and ongoing maintenance of our website. Our efforts include:

  • Accessible design: Working to ensure the website is designed to support users with different accessibility needs, including those who use assistive technologies.
  • Clear and understandable content: Presenting information in a clear, organized and readable format.
  • Ongoing improvements: Reviewing website content and functionality and addressing accessibility barriers as they are identified.
  • Inclusive participation: Supporting access to information about Volleyball Manitoba’s programs, services, events and opportunities.
  • Feedback and accountability: Welcoming feedback from users and using it to help guide accessibility improvements.

We aim to align our website with the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2 Level AA. While we continue to work toward this goal, we cannot guarantee that every page or feature currently meets all accessibility standards.

Some older documents, PDFs, images or third-party content may not be fully accessible. Where possible, Volleyball Manitoba will make reasonable efforts to provide the information in an alternative format or otherwise assist users in accessing the content.

Feedback and Accessibility Support

We welcome comments, questions and suggestions about the accessibility of the Volleyball Manitoba website. If you encounter an accessibility barrier, please contact us at [email protected]. Where possible, please include:

  • The webpage or content you were trying to access.
  • The difficulty you experienced.
  • Any assistance or alternative format that would help you access the information.

We aim to acknowledge accessibility inquiries within five business days and will work with the individual to determine appropriate next steps. Resolution times may vary depending on the nature and complexity of the issue.

If you are not satisfied with our response, you may request that the matter be reviewed by the Executive Director of Volleyball Manitoba.
