Volleyball Canada is now accepting applications for coaches interested in attending one of five NCCP Performance Coach workshops this summer of 2018.

The 3-day Performance Coach Workshop focusses on the skill of Performance Analysis (error detection and correction) using video technology. This is an advanced volleyball coaching workshop and is intended for coaches who aspire to develop athletes and teams which will be competitive at national level competitions and university/college leagues.

Successful completion of the MED Online Evaluation is necessary for certification in any new NCCP program. It is also one of the components required by all coaches to meet Volleyball Canada’s 2018 Coach Certification Policy.

There are 2 ways to complete the MED Online Evaluation:

  1. Once you have completed the MED training in a workshop or home study, and it appears on your NCCP transcript, you will have unlimited attempts at the MED evaluation at no charge.
  2. You may proceed directly to the MED evaluation without taking any training, by logging in at www.coach.ca. A fee of $85 will apply. You will have unlimited attempts at obtaining a passing grade of 75%.

The MED training is also available as part of the regularly scheduled “Introduction to Competition A” course offered through Coaching Manitoba.
