As we continue to make our way through the season and begin to approach Provincials and Nationals, we have a few items of importance for the attention of all clubs.
The Roster Lock deadline has been extended to April 7th. The below items must be completed by that date in order for teams to participate in Provincial and National Championships.
All team personnel must be registered members and must be assigned to the appropriate team in the registration system by the roster lock deadline.
Steps include:
- First – You must have all of your Coaches and Players registered in to the system, along with appropriate memberships purchased
- Second – All of your Coaches and Players must have Active accounts in the system (i.e. they each need to have logged in, updated their information and signed the appropriate waivers)
- Third – All of your Coaches and Players must be rostered on their appropriate teams
- Fourth – All of your Coaches (including Head Coaches, Assistant Coaches and Managers) must have any screening and certification requirements completed
Additional Information for checking rosters in SportLomo:
You can review your rosters in SportLomo by logging in to your Club account and clicking on Team Sheet Panels. Your teams will be listed there, along with an outline of the number of players and coaches on each roster. You can review each roster in detail by clicking on the edit button beside each team and selecting the Players or Officials tab to review your players or coaches, respectively. Adding players and coaches to your teams (who are already registered to your Club) is also done in this section. If you need to register and pay memberships for additional players and coaches, that can be done through the Group Registration link on your Club account home page.
Please Note: Following April 7th, any rosters that do not have at least 8 players and a Head Coach (who has completed the appropriate requirements) will be considered incomplete and will be removed from Provincials and Nationals (if applicable). Rosters will be considered final as of the 7th so any athletes and/or coaches who are not included at that point will be ineligible to participate in Provincials or Nationals.
Additional Information on Coach Screening and Certification:
All coaches and persons of authority must meet the 2022 Coach Eligibility requirements by the roster lock deadline of April 7th. Coaches must have completed all of the requirements by this date OR they must provide proof that they are registered for the necessary training or checks and the expected date of completion. Other Deadlines:
March 31st is the Provincial Championship Registration Deadline, so make sure you get your teams registered! For those 14U Tier 2 teams, registration is now live but the date/venue is still pending. Sorry for the continued delay!
