Scorekeeping Volunteers
Each team is required to provide a volunteer to complete the score sheet and/or flip the score board. All teams are encouraged to have their volunteers review the online score sheet tutorial HERE so they are familiar with the process.
Ineligible Coaches
Please remember that only coaches/players who are currently on your roster and not listed as Ineligible are able to sit on the bench during matches and/or participate in warm-up. Official Rosters can be reviewed HERE.
Parking
Parking is available immediately around each venue.
- Dakota Community Centre: Vehicles arriving at DCC to are encouraged to enter through the CJS side parking lot and exit the area through the library lot and on the arena side. The CJS lot can get very congested if people are also trying to exit that way. If at all possible, please exit the area through the library lot and reserve the CJS side lot for arrivals.
Please also note that parking in the Library Lot is not permitted. Cars will be ticketed. Parking is also available on the arena side of the complex.
DCC has recently installed some No-Parking signs in areas that need to remain clear and/or areas where parking can cause damage to the greenery. Please respect the signage!

- Niverville Rec Centre: With the volume of teams competing at the event this weekend, parking may be limited. Please respect parking signs around the area.
- Steinbach Regional Secondary School: Parking should be available in the school lot, and in the immediate surrounding area if necessary.
Athletic Therapy
We will have MATA staff on site throughout the weekend at each main venue.
Coaches Rooms
We will have a Coaches Room set up on Saturday and Sunday at each main venue.
Food in Venue
Canteens will only be available at some venues (Dakota Fieldhouse, Niverville Rec Centre). Outside food is not allowed in some facilities. Please respect their rules on this. Spectators and teams should do their best to put any garbage or recycling in the appropriate receptacles so as to help keep the venues clean. Coaches should make sure that their teams do not leave any garbage/recycling in the bench areas after each match. Let’s all be respectful of the space so we can continue to consistently access these facilities.
Merchandise Sales & Pre-Event Clothing Orders
Volleyball Manitoba general merchandise (not Provincials specific) is only being planned to be on sale at the Dakota Fieldhouse (Saturday) from approx. 10am-3pm.
For anyone who had ordered 2023 Provincial Championship Clothing through our online Pre-Event Store, we will have those items for pick-up through our event staff. If your order is not at your venue, please email us at volleyball.ed@sportmanitoba.ca and we will attempt to coordinate getting it to you over the weekend.
Live Streaming
We will not be Live Streaming the Provincial Championships.
