Volleyball Manitoba is excited to announce the anticipated return of the VM Summer Series Beach League for 2020!
As some sports start to return to training or competition with the recent Government Phase 2 Re-Opening, Volleyball Manitoba has been working diligently on our Return to Play plan which was recently submitted to the provincial authorities.
While we wait for what we hope will be an approval to proceed with our beach volleyball leagues, we are initiating registration to help us with our planning process.
In order to meet Provincial Health Regulations the Summer Series League will look a little different this year. We will continue to host leagues at both Sargent Park Beach Volleyball Centre and Maple Grove Rugby Park, however we will only be offering 2s Divisions for the 2020 season due to physical distancing regulations, and there will be registration limits due to venue capacities and outdoor group size restrictions.
Ultimately, the safety of our participants and of our community is our priority. We will have a series of risk management and safety measures in place that participants will be required to follow. More info on these measures will be made available once our Return-to-Play proposal is formally approved.
We are aiming to begin the season the week of July 6-10.

Please note that currently all registration is being taken on a “Wait List” basis. Due to this, all leagues will be listed as “Full” on the registration forms. Once we have finalized our Division Capacities, teams will begin to be invited to complete their registration, in the same order in which they registered.
