Volleyball Manitoba and the Redekop family are proud to announce Brooklyn Olfert and Rylan Armstrong as the 2021 Nikki Redekop Memorial Scholarship recipients!
The Nikki Redekop Volleyball Scholarships ($500) are available annually to graduating high school students pursuing academics and volleyball excellence at post-secondary levels.
Brooklyn Olfert has been a standout indoor and beach volleyball player for many seasons, most recently capturing the MHSAA ‘AAAA’ Provincial Girls Volleyball Championships in 2019, being named MVP of Provincials. She also captured a silver medal at the 2019 Western Canada Summer Games in Swift Current.
Rylan Armstrong has been an on-court and off-court leader for his high school and club teams for years. He has been the recipient of the WinMan Warrior award for positivity, skill, leadership, and on-court excellence as well as the Westwood Heart and Hustle award as an outstanding teammate and fearless leader.
