The 6th Annual Stefan Savoie Memorial Volleyball Tournament will take place Sunday July 10 at Melrose Community Center. There will be 3 divisions of co-ed play, competitive 4’s, recreational 4’s and recreational 6’s with great prizes and trophies for the winners of each division. This tournament is a wonderful opportunity to get out on the beach courts, but more importantly to socialize and celebrate the life and passion of Stefan Savoie.
Funds raised from this event go directly to maintaining Stefan’s scholarship which is awarded annually to an individual that epitomizes the zeal with which Stef played the game and lived his life. The way Stefan lived brought joy and contagious passion to everyone that had the pleasure of interacting with him. We invite you to join us as we gather for the 5th year to celebrate this incredible personality and contagious passion, and to pay honour to his memory through a fun day of socializing in the sun with family and friends. Your participation is greatly appreciated and encouraged regardless of experience or enthusiasm for the game as this event will have a variety of other offerings throughout the day including music, prizes, a raffle and after party at the Norvilla Hotel.
