All members are invited to attend the 2020 Volleyball Manitoba Annual General Meeting that will take place on Wednesday, September 2, 2020, starting at 7:00pm.
We are offering the opportunity for members to attend the AGM both in person at Sport Manitoba, 145 Pacific Avenue in Winnipeg, or virtually online through a Zoom meeting. Any members interested in attending are asked to please RSVP to volleyball.ed@sportmanitoba by August 28, 2020.
The agenda for the meeting will include the following:
- Registration
- Call to Order
- Notice of Meeting
- Establishment of Quorum / Approval of Agenda
- Presentation and Approval of Minutes of 2019 Annual Meeting
- Reports
- Financial Statements
- Appointment of Auditor
- Election of Directors (see below*)
- Other Business
- Adjournment
* The AGM will involve the election of 6 Director positions to the Board of Volleyball Manitoba. Nominations were due by August 19. You can view the profiles of the 8 nominees HERE.
As part of the AGM we will present a short report on the past year and looking ahead, and we will include information on how COVID has and could continue to impact our organization including Return to Play considerations.
