NOTICE:
2019 Volleyball Manitoba Annual General Meeting & Board of Directors Nominations

All members are invited to the 2019 Volleyball Manitoba Annual General Meeting that will take place on Wednesday, September 4, 2019, in Winnipeg at the University of Winnipeg in room 3M62 Centennial Hall starting at 6:30pm. A map of available parking can be found HERE.
The meeting will take place during the 2019 NORCECA Continental Championships, and following a report on the past year and upcoming plans and initiatives for the organization along with the formal business of the AGM, all attendees will be invited to attend the final evening NORCECA Championship match that is currently expected to involve Canada vs. Puerto Rico at 8:00pm at the University of Winnipeg.
The agenda for the meeting will include the following:
- Registration
- Call to Order
- Notice of Meeting
- Establishment of Quorum / Approval of Agenda
- Presentation and Approval of Minutes of 2018 Annual Meeting
- Reports
- Financial Statements
- Appointment of Auditor
- Election of Directors (see below*)
- Other Business
- Adjournment
* The AGM will involve the election of 5 Director positions to the Board of Volleyball Manitoba. Nominations are due by August 21. If you are interested in serving on the Board, please see more details HERE.
The 2018-19 annual report will be posted on our website by September 3, 2019.
Member registration for the AGM will open at 6:00pm. We encourage representatives from all member leagues, clubs and teams to attend. Attendance is open but to gauge participation we ask those who plan on attending to RSVP to volleyball.ed@sportmanitoba.ca by August 30, 2019.
