Volleyball Manitoba (VM) is the governing body for the sport of volleyball in the province of Manitoba. Incorporated in 1977 as a non-profit association, VM services the needs of its members, which include athletes (high performance, developmental and recreational), coaches, officials, and anyone who loves the sport of volleyball.

Volleyball Manitoba 2015-2019 Strategic Plan

Volleyball Manitoba is currently working within a Strategic Plan to help guide our organization over the 2015-2019 period.  The Strategic Plan was developed over an 18 month period following a consultative process that involved engagement with our members and stakeholders from all levels of our sport. This process included a review and development of our mission, vision and values, along with identifying three core strategic priorities with goals and target measures for each:

  • Organization Leadership
  • Growth
  • Technical Leadership

As we continue to move forward, the Strategic Plan will guide our staff and committee’s with the delivery of our programs and initiatives, with the Volleyball Manitoba Board reviewing progress on an ongoing basis.

Working within our Mission Statement and in cooperation with our stakeholders, we will strive to improve our Athlete, Coach and Official Development pathways to provide a positive experience for all participants, and to ensure that volleyball continues to grow and develop in our province.

In order to help achieve these goals, VM operates a variety of programs. These programs include:
